The E-Largus electric car with SAE rechargeable batteries has been officially presented

AVTOVAZ has officially unveiled its electric car equipped with SAE batteries.
The energy in the maximum configuration is up to 62 kWh, which will allow the electric vehicle to travel a distance of up to 400 km.

The batteries are fully developed in Russia by our company’s specialists.

The “General 62181” electric bus with SAE batteries went for a test drive to the Tolyattiazot chemical enterprise

The “General 62181” electric bus with SAE batteries went for a test drive to the Tolyattiazot chemical enterprise.
It will be used on the territory of the plant for transportation of personnel.

The new “General” uses the technology of combined charge replenishment of traction batteries, which combines 3 types of charge replenishment at once: slow — from an outlet; dynamic — from current collectors and ultrafast type — through current collectors. It can also be charged from trolleybus and tram infrastructure, from 380 or 600 volt charging stations.

🔋The capacity of the autonomous running batteries is 93-200 kW.h with the possibility of increasing the capacity
🛣️ Power reserve – up to 150 km
⌛ Charging time from 45-120 min .

We believe that the employees of the Tolyatti enterprise are very lucky to have corporate transport.

Trolleybuses with SAE batteries – in Kaliningrad

The Sinara-6254 has launched urban routes with increased autonomous travel, and it will begin transporting passengers on September 25. The new trolleybuses are capable of traveling up to 80 km without consuming energy from the contact network, and the overall energy efficiency of transport has been increased by 15%.

Excellent performance – thanks to the battery pack from SAE⚡️ Its main advantage is its high energy density (160 wh/kg). At the same time, the battery pack is very compact.: The weight of one battery is 198 kg🔋 The system is equipped with a built-in heating and liquid cooling function, due to which it works perfectly in all weather conditions.

The test drive for Chelyabinsk trolleybuses will last until October 6. After that, the Kaliningrad authorities will decide on the purchase of cars for the city.

Electrotrans Exhibition, new vehicles based on SAE batteries

A moment of pride

All new electric buses and trolleybuses from the last exhibition “ElectroTrans-2023” are equipped with Russian-made batteries ⚡

KAMAZ-62825, PKTS “General” and “Elektrogorod” – all these advanced models of public electric transport are equipped with battery packs from the largest Russian developer and manufacturer of batteries, SAE (Autonomous Energy Systems) company.

By the way, SAE has its own channel for those who love electric cars, electric buses and battery technologies. You will always find the latest news of the EV world in it. Subscribe!

Mass use of SAE batteries began in Chelyabinsk

The battery pack produced by Autonomous Energy Systems (SAE) began to be used at the urban electric transport plant in Chelyabinsk. They are installed on trolleybuses with autonomous running “SINARA-6254”.
The batteries of our production have become the basis of energy storage systems created by the company, part of the Holding Company STM – LLC “STM-ENERGORESHENIYA”. The main advantage of the new solution is the record gravimetric energy density, which is significantly higher than that of other existing Russian batteries and is not inferior to its foreign counterparts. It is about 150 wh/kg.
The battery pack of the new trolleybuses is as compact as possible — the height of one battery is only 141 mm and the weight is 210 kg. The system is equipped with a patented built-in heating and liquid cooling function, due to which it can be operated in all weather conditions.

The powerful and compact battery system ensures long-term autonomous driving even in winter conditions.

The first batch of trolleybuses with new batteries will be 98 units. Of these, 20 vehicles are almost ready, and will enter the routes in the near future. Over time, such trolleybuses will completely replace the fleet of outdated rolling stock in Chelyabinsk – there will be 168 of them in total in the capital of the Southern Urals.

Admiral trolleybuses with SAE battery systems began operation in Kursk

Autonomous Energy Systems (SAE) has developed battery packs for new Admiral trolleybuses. The first 15 vehicles equipped with batteries of our production have already entered the routes of the city of Kursk.
The batteries that Admiral received have a high energy density and a record low weight of the product, which makes them leaders among all existing Russian analogues.
Thus, the gravimetric energy density of the new batteries is more than 160 wh/kg. The installation capacity is 62 kWh. Such technical characteristics allow the vehicle to travel up to 20 km without connecting to a contact network.
In addition, the battery pack of the new trolleybuses is characterized by low weight and small size — the battery height is only 135 mm, the weight is 199 kg, and the entire system has a mass of less than 400 kg.

The batteries use a patented technology for heating and air cooling, which we wrote about earlier. This allows you to use the trolleybus even at temperatures from -40 to +40 degrees and significantly increases battery life.
In addition, the engineers of the Autonomous Energy System (SAE) have equipped the Admiral’s solution with an on-board insulation monitoring device that protects it from possible current leaks, and a cloud-based monitoring system that allows you to monitor the battery status remotely. And the charging of the trolleybus with an autonomous course takes place right during the movement.
In the near future, such trolleybuses will completely replace the outdated transport fleet not only in Kursk, but also in other cities of the country.
